NanoMatte: Quiet Colour, Soft Touch

NanoMatte offers low-reflection solid colour and a smooth, soft-touch feel. It can create a quieter companion to woodgrain and stone-inspired finishes, with the final choice grounded in samples, product form and the intended use.

Build the room around quieter reflection

Some palettes need a surface that holds colour without introducing a strong reflected highlight. NanoMatte brings a low-reflection matt direction to cabinetry, with a soft-touch character that adds another quality beyond what a screen image can convey.

NanoMatte works alongside timber and stone-inspired surfaces as a softer companion. Consider that relationship across the whole room: a solid-colour door can calm a pronounced woodgrain, while a subtle tone can connect several neighbouring finishes. Start with the effect the composition needs, then select the colour.

See and feel the actual sample

Compare labelled samples under the same light. Look at colour, reflection and touch separately, then place the preferred options beside the materials they will meet. Change the viewing angle and keep the exact décor reference with the decision.

FineMatte is a useful neighbouring comparison. It has a PET film surface with matt depth and selected metallic effects, while NanoMatte focuses on low reflection and Soft Touch. A shared matt description does not make the collections identical. Choose the one whose appearance and tactile character best fit the project.

Choose the supplied form with the fabricator

A NanoMatte sample identifies an appearance; the complete specification identifies the item to supply. Complete panels include their core and may be single- or double-sided. Core grade, sheet dimensions and the reverse face still need to be confirmed for the selected product.

NanoMatte Laminate is a separate surface sheet with its own application limits. This form is specified for vertical use, rather than desktops or kitchen benchtops. A similar finish name is not a reason to transfer an application from one form to another.

The Pure White 1001 product information describes an EB-cured surface. That is a useful construction detail for the identified product; specific performance questions still need the relevant current guidance or report.

Plan the everyday detail

Review the face, matching edge and hardware together. For a frequently touched door, discuss everyday use and care before the selection is final. Obtain the current care instructions for the supplied product rather than using an unverified heat treatment or a generic cleaning method.

Explore NanoMatte colours, compare FineMatte’s different matt character, and keep the approved sample with the complete product record. The KnoxOne team can help coordinate the next sample and specification check.
