Limited Warranty Policy

Thank you for choosing Verdecor products. This Limited Warranty ("Warranty") applies to products sold by Knoxs Pty Ltd under the brand Verdecor ("we," "our," or "Verdecor"). To protect your rights, please carefully review this Warranty and retain your proof of purchase for future reference.

 


1. Definitions

In this Warranty:

  • "Verdecor": Refers to Knoxs Pty Ltd and its brand Verdecor, including authorised dealers.
  • "Product": Refers to all decorative panel products explicitly covered by this warranty, sold by Verdecor.
  • "Residential Use": Installation within private residences, apartments, or other residential premises.
  • "Commercial Use": Installation within commercial environments, including offices, restaurants, hotels, retail outlets, educational institutions, medical facilities, or other non-residential premises.
  • "Warranty Period": The duration of coverage calculated from the date of product delivery or the date of full payment.

2. Warranty Coverage

Under normal and reasonable use and maintenance conditions, Verdecor warrants that our products are free from defects in materials and workmanship throughout the Warranty Period. If any covered defect is confirmed, Verdecor will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective product or components free of charge.

 


3. Exclusions from Warranty

This Warranty does not cover defects or damages resulting from:

  1. Acts of nature, force majeure events, or third-party actions.
  2. Misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents by the customer or third parties.
  3. Damage caused by direct contact with heat sources (e.g., hot pans, heating devices, open flames).
  4. Exposure to moisture, steam, hot water, or other liquids.
  5. Damage resulting from the use of solvents or cleaning agents not recommended by Verdecor.
  6. Contact with chemicals, corrosive substances, or acidic/basic materials.
  7. Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, or minor stains.
  8. Fading or discoloration caused by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
  9. Slight variations in colour, pattern, or texture compared to samples, display panels, or promotional materials.
  10. Unauthorised modifications, repairs, or installations.
  11. Damage arising from improper transport, storage, handling, or installation.
  12. Failure to follow the Verdecor official maintenance and cleaning guidelines.
  13. Failure to adhere to recommended technical and installation guidelines.

 


4. Warranty Claim Procedure

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us promptly using the procedure below:

Please provide the following information when submitting a claim:

  • Customer’s full name, contact phone number, and email address.
  • Installation address, installation date, and installer details.
  • Product name, model, colour, and a detailed description of the defect.
  • Clear, high-resolution photographs clearly showing the defect.
  • Copy of your sales order number or proof of purchase (invoice).

Inspection and Resolution Procedure:

  • Upon receiving your claim, we will contact you within 7 business days with an initial response and proposed solution.
  • If required, we may arrange an on-site inspection to further evaluate the product condition.
  • We commit to resolving the issue through repair or replacement within a reasonable timeframe and will provide regular updates during the process.

Customer Responsibilities:

You must notify Verdecor promptly upon discovering any issues with the product. Failure to promptly notify us may worsen the condition and affect the validity or outcome of your warranty claim.

 


5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verdecor's liability under this Warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of products. Verdecor is not responsible for any direct or indirect losses or damages arising from product defects, including but not limited to loss of profits, business losses, or other indirect economic losses.

 


6. Updates to Warranty Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Warranty Terms at any time. Any updates will be published on our official website, with the latest revision date clearly indicated. Please review these terms periodically to ensure you understand the most current Warranty Policy.
